DUBÉ LATREILLE is proud to announce that Me Philippe Chagnon, CD is now part of its litigation team.
A law graduate from the Université de Montréal, Philippe began his practice at a Montreal firm specializing in insurance law. It was there that he quickly discovered a passion for litigation. He loves to fight in court to assert his arguments with poise and conviction!
Philippe then joined a national law firm based on the South Shore, where, for nearly 10 years, he built a solid experience in civil and commercial litigation. During this time, he handled major cases in various areas (illegal competition, shareholder disputes, civil liability, injunctions, defamation on social media, etc.) for the benefit of a diverse corporate clientele including car dealerships, manufacturers, insurers, and agricultural farms. Over time, he developed valuable expertise in civil procedure and product liability.
At DUBÉ LATREILLE, Philippe's practice primarily covers civil liability, extraordinary remedies (injunctions, protective orders, etc.), insurance law, construction law, and agricultural law.
A husband and father of three, Philippe is also a man of action. In addition to his family and professional obligations, he devotes part of his time serving Canada as a reservist officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. As such, he has had the opportunity to participate in operations in assistance to civil powers in Quebec as well as deployments to Haiti (2010) and Afghanistan (2010-2011).
The members of DUBÉ LATREILLE are delighted to welcome Philippe in their team and to be able to put his experience to work for their clients.
Welcome aboard, Me Chagnon! We wish you all the best!
