Thomas Godbout

Thomas Godbout joined the Dubé Latreille team as a law intern since September 9th, 2024.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Université de Sherbrooke with a Bachelor of Laws and a DESS in common law and transnational law (Juris Doctor). During his studies, he developed a great interest in civil law, more specifically contract law, civil liability and property law. He notably worked as a research assistant at the University of Sherbrooke in administrative law relating to university research.

In parallel with his studies, Thomas participated in a simulation of the United Nations (NMUNS), and he completed a session abroad at the Università degli Studi di Trento, in Italy, where he took numerous courses in of comparative law. In his spare time, he particularly enjoys training in fencing and biathlon and is interested in music, personal finance and learning Italian.
